I contracted National Auto Shipping without contacting any other company due to the recommendation from the restorer I bought the car from. I was told they did a great job and were very trustworthy. I contacted Manny who was very eager to get my business and told me they were different than other carriers because they owned their own trucks and didn't have to rely on contracting out their carriers. I signed a contract with them on Monday,December 29th and was told the car would be picked up in the next two days as they already had a truck close by. Manny personally guaranteed I would have my car in 7-10 days from the 29th but he said it would probably be more like 5 days. Like I said, at this time he was very eager to please and I paid for the shippment in full. When the car was still not picked up by Friday, 3 days after Manny said it would be, I continuously made calls to NAS and kept being told the truck was on the way that day. Finally on Saturday I was told that the car would be picked up NLT Sunday the 4th and would be delivered by the 9th. I asked about the promise pick up date by Manny but they said there is no way they can promise stuff like that. My car was still not picked up by Monday the 5th and I called and informed them if my car was not picked up by Tuesday, I was cancelling my credit card payment and they would no longer have my business. Remarkably, the next day they picked up my car. The driver was great and got my car to my finally on the 12th (7 days late from promise and even 5 days late on the contract dates.) The driver informed me that he was a contract carrier and got the load from a broker. He said my car was sitting so long because National Auto Shipping was only paying $700 for the car to be delivered and nobody wanted the load due to the amount. What happened to them owning their own trucks and not being a broker like they told me? I would not recommend this company to anyone and go directly to someone who owns their own equipment. This company, Manny especially, is not to be trusted.

Shelby Collier ( 504 Oak Chase Drive A - augusta (GA) 231-1218 ) COMPLAINT IS EXAGIRATED AND FALSE customer shelby collier purchased a ford mustang 1968 from California, We originally got contacted by dealership direct informing us that Mr.collier will be contacting us for apointment. we gave dealership price os $1072.00 for transport. then customer calls to get a better quote, once we spoke with supervisor and we explained to dealership due to holidays car probably wont get picked up until 1 st week of january. ( DEALERSHIP PROBABLY NEVER INFORMED CLIENT ABOUT THAT : ) - and we gave him $1000.00, customer contacted us on 12-29-2008 to set up apointment. customer wanted a pick up ASAP of course he just purchased a car ....who wouldn't? customer was informed within 5-7 days but with our experience it can be sooner. We picked him up on dates we had gave dealership and delivered in 5-7 days witch is a fast delivery. The company that did the job for us is a independent carrier that we use frequently. From the 315 customer we have moved for the dealership in north hollywood ,Shelby Collier is # 316 the only once that has ever complaint about us. But we understand his frustration and will make it better next time. THIS consumer is creating false statements at his favor, HE HAS A SIGNED CONTRACT WITCH HAS ALL IN WRITING. COMPLAINT IS FALSE. We will take it under consideration for future move when booking a car before new year's or christmas. best regard's, National Auto Shipping 877-393-3232 ( SALES MANAGAER - CARLOS )
