We Hired National Transport LLc to move a truck from Charleston SC to Post Falls Idaho. The carrier, Palsol Transportation out of Seattle WA picked up the truck on time with a delivery date of May 18 - May 21 2010. On May 25, 2010 my vehicle had not been delivered and I have not hear from the driver as to what date my vehicle would be delivered. I called National Transport LLC to find out where my vehicle was and they gave me the run a round, his phone is not working, maybe he has no cell service, but we will keep trying to reach him. I never did hear back from National Transport.
I called the port of entry into Washington State to see if Palsol Transportation had entered Washington and they told me that the driver, Dawitt Lemma had been arrested in St. Regis Montana and that I should call the Montana State Patrol.
I called the Montana State Patrol and was advised that the driver, Dawitt Lemma had been arrested and all the vehicles on his truck had been impounded. I could pick up my vehicle in a few days. I had to rent a vehicle trailer and borrow a pick up truck to go to St. Regis Montana ( 3 hours away) to pick up my vehicle.
When my Dad and I arrived in St. Regis to pick up my vehicle, I could not believe what I was seeing. My truck had been taken apart to check for drugs and that the driver was arrested on drug charges. Mr. Lemma's transport truck had been impounded because it was not fit to be driving on the highways.
The driver did lower the fee that I paid him by 300.00 for my expenses to come and get my vehicle, but I still had to pay National Transport LLC the 495.00 fee.
I will never use this company EVER again and I would suggest that nobody use this company.
National Transport LLC does not check who will be driving your vehicle out or that they had ever been arrested or their driving record.
National Transport did not know that the driver had been arrested until I told them when I called to complain about the 495.00 fee I had to pay them, So again I will never use this company or Palsol Transportation.
