I called Nationwide on 2/3/04 to schedule a pick up for my car. I spoke to a customer service rep by the name of Ricky who told me that they can have my car pick up on 2/7/04 to ship to Garland, TX. But it would cost me $700. I have received quotes from carriers for $550 but the pick up time wont be until 2/11/04. I needed the car shipped ASAP. So I went with Nationwide and paid alittle extra.

As the date got closer I still did not receive a contract from them or a call from the carrier. I called them on 2/6/04 to comfirm the pick up of my car. The dispatcher Kyle told me he would call me back. He called me back later that day to say he spoke to the carrier and my pick up is 2/7/04 as schedule. He told me that he was out tomorrow BUT Hope will be in to help me if there's a problem. I than asked him about the contract. He said he would look into it for me. Later that day I got the contract email to me.

On 2/7/04 I called Nationwide in the morning to get a window time of when they will pick it up. I called and asked for Hope. The receptionist said..Hope does work today..that's when I knew something was up. I insisted on talking to someone..anyone...they kept sending me to voicemail. Finally after leaving 3 messages and no call back. I called and told the receptionist I will hold to talk to anyone. Finally someone named Marlina came to the line. She said your carrier is blah blah blah and that they have until midnight today to come. I said what if they don't. She said you can call me tomorrow and we can work something out. Well...Saturday passed and still no pick up. I call her the next day...There offices is closed! Liars!

On 2/9/04 I called them at 8am in the morning. The reciptionist sent me to voicemail. I left a voicemail.. at 11am still NO ONE called me back. I called them again and still got sent to voicemail after I once again explain the sistuation to the receptionist. At around 1:30pm I called again and finally got a hold of Ricky the customer service rep who took my order. He said he didn't know what was going on and that he would call me back...NOTHING! NO CALL BACK AT ALL! I called back again at 3pm and told the receptionist that I want to talk to Kyle. They sent me around and around. FINALLY Kyle got on the phone. He starts explaing that it was the carrier fault etc...they took the order and that it wasn't their fault that the carrier didn't show up. FINALLY I got in touch with the carrier who said they didn't even get the order from Nationwide until Friday and NO WAY could pick it up the next day.

BOTTEM LINE! Nationwide charged me an extra $150 to have my car pick up and for services that the NEVER provided to me. I am disputing it with my credit card and am now back to square one in looking for another shipping company.
DO NOT USE THEM!
