have hired Nationwide relocation services to make the move with 3 weeks of time. They charged an advance which I paid by credit card. They arrived on date as scheduled. I have gave them all the information regarding the stairs (3rd floor at pickup and 2nd floor at delivery). All through 3 weeks, I have asked a lot of questions to agent (who I was workign with) regarding any hidden charges or additional charges. They never asked me anything about a 18 wheeler getting into the apartment complex. They hired a local company ADS based in GA. The pickup went really well and I thought may be online reviews are not entirely true. At the time of delivery they had called me an hour before the truck arrived (in fact while it was on it's way) and told me the balance that I had to pay. The balance was like $500 more than what I was expecting to pay for a 800lb less weight than the quoted price. I kept calling Nationwide but they put me on hold for 40 mins to respond correctly. Finally, they mentioned that ADS had to rent a shuttle to pikcup my styff as an 18 wheeler could not get into the complex. Before pickup ADS contacted me about 18 wheeler trcuks getting to apartment and I gave them the apartment office number to check if a 18 wheeler could come into the apartment. They found about that and notified that to Nationwide, who never called me to inform about it. They simply applied the rental charges for shuttle in my bill. Apart from that they also applied some additonal service charges. I couldn't argue with them while having these movers at my door waiting to deliver the stuff. So, I had to pay $1398.34 to them in cash. After a numer of calls the following day, a supervisor spoke to me and said that actual bill was $1267.84 while I paid $1398.34. So they agreed to pay me $130 back. But they called me later again and told me that I wouldn't get any amount back at all. Everytime I speak to someone, they tell me different thing and different price. This is a worst organization to deal with. Anyone reading this do not think you might not come across this.. you will unfortunately.
