I needed my 2000 Excelsior Henderson, Deadwood Special transported from Elkton, Virginia to Orlando, Florida. I posted online to a auto shipping clearing house, for lack of a better name, and received responses from multiple transporters. Some of the companies sent me pricing proposals ranging from $200 to $1,000 while some of the companies sent noting but an email with a small amount of information and a phone number but no pricing. I did some research of four of the companies that were priced from $400 to $700. A couple of the companies were fairly new and didn't have much history and the others were relatively evenly matched in their level of experience. While talking to representatives from the most experienced companies, the contact person from company A seemed pushy and to an extent desperate, while the contact person from company B was very informative, answered all my questions and seemed more "relaxed" and knowledgeable. I decided to trust my very special motorcycle to Roger at Nationwide Transport Services LLC. Roger called me and gave me the rundown on the people he decided was going to be right for my needs. He researched the DOT database and other sources to make sure the company filled all the requirements I had asked about and had more than sufficient insurance in place to cover any damage or loss that could possibly happen. I am very happy with all aspects of the transport process.
