Laki's service was excellent. He got my truck to me all the way from over on the Left coast to here in central Kentucky, and I was (am) extremely grateful. I would gladly use him & his services again.
.
But ... as far as the transport driver was concerned, he was a real shit. He made many estimates as to the actual West coast Pick Up & Trip start time would be, and then didn't. He repeatedly changed his arrival time here due to non- payment from another prior delivery in another state (Cleveland).
.
He wanted to stretch his arrival out from Friday (expected) to Sunday or even the following Monday. I told him that that was unacceptable because neither me or my wrecker driver would be available.
.
Upon arrival here, driver immediately went into an uncontrolled rant and repeatedly complained because he couldn't park his rig "straight", and stated that he wouldn't be able to turn his truck around. He repeatedly blamed me for putting him in such an impossible location. He didn't know how to position his truck/trailer for unloading without blocking the street "for between 25 & 30 minutes".
.
He had no winch or provisions in place to safely unload my truck. He was repeatedly argumentative. He had a distinct accent and was difficult to understand and wound up being impossible for ME to reason or work with.
.
He was totally uncooperative. He kept complaining because " you kept calling me wanting to know where I was and when I was going to arrive".
.
I just shut up and walked away before I blew up completely. Afterwards, I repeatedly told him to work it out with my wrecker driver and just don't even talk to me again.
.
I had already hired a local wrecker driver to aid in the unloading on this end and I let him reason with the driver and handle the unload. I had to keep him on standby for four days because of repeated arrival date changes, but he came thru for me without getting the least bit aggravated.
.
He was able to reason with the transporter as to how to properly position his rig and how to unload my truck quickly and with a minimum of trouble and in complete safty, since my truck had missing running gear, no brakes and no steering wheel.

P.S. P.S P.S. ... The transport driver, Viktor, of "Victor1 of Vancover, Washington" had absolutely no trouble turning his "My truck is 100 feet long! (repeatedly)" rig around, He had no trouble parking on the side of the street where passing traffic remained unimpeded, He wouldn't unload my truck until all paperwork was done and payment was made, even though I was standing there with payment in hand. He had me speculate on delivery condition of truck and it's packed contents while it was still loaded on his trailer... everything was fine by the way.
.
And my truck DID arrive in good condition. regardless.
.
Again, NONE of this was Laki's fault. And I WILL most likely be using his services again in the near future for another truck. But this time I will get more background information on the transporter in advance.
