From scheduled pick up date to scheduled drop off date was 22 days!!!
My vehicle was scheduled for pick up on Oct 27. It was not picked up until Nov 10. And even then, the truck did not come to my house to pick it up. I was asked to drive to the highway to meet it.
The driver told me the drop off would probably be on Nov 17. On Nov 17 we called the trucking company and was told drop off would not be until Nov 19. Being frustrated at this point, we asked where the truck was actually located at that time so we could meet it and pick up the vehicle ourselves. The truck was 1 1/2hrs away so we drove to the truck and retrieved our car. I don't think it's acceptable that on Nov 17 the truck was located 1 1/2hrs away from our drop off destination but would not be making the drop off until two days later on Nov 19.
The agent/Mike at Nationwide Transport was very pleasant but I think the entire process, including the possibility of pick up and drop off delays, should be disclosed to the customer so they are aware from the beginning so as to avoid frustration.
