Had to call three or four times to get date for pick-up, then price was raised $150 when a willing driver was finally located to make the "extra" run up to Norther California to deliver vehicle. Claimed earlier quoted price was just good to Southern California. When asked about insurance coverage was told "full" coverage was included in price. Did not inform me that driver/actual trucking company is the insurance provider and there is a $1,000 deductible. Damage was to vehicle while in route, yet I was never called until car was delivered 3 days late with all windows down, power windows not working and driver claimed it was not his fault. No explanation as to why he had to put windows down while vehicle was in transit. All windows were up when vehicle was loaded at origin. Tried to get compensation for over $1000 to repair power window system (repair invoice provided) that was repaired at dealer in California the days after delivery. No offer ever made by Nationwide or Longmay Inc., Spring Hill, FL despite repeated attempts and contacts even with insurance company. Besides the out of pocket cost and aggravation, this whole experience and handling by Nationwide and Longmay was totally unsatisfactory. Max

If you get in a car accident, Do you pay for the repair and then send your adjuster the bill before allowing them to see it? Of course not. The reason his claim was denied though the insurance is Mr Max Turnipseed went to a repair shop paid the bill and tried sending us the bill. There is a Claims process. I am sorry that the car was damaged but it would have been taken care of, IF he put a claim in instead of repairing the damage and sending us the bill. We have a letter from the adjuster explaining exactly this that can be provided upon request.
