The carrier New Way Auto Transport LLC was contracted to carry a Porsche Boxster from Redwood City, CA to Arizona. During transport the driver damaged the soft-top roof of the car when he lowered his top shelf and scraped the roof canvas tearing it and damaging the chasis. The owner/driver did not want to resolve the issue and began to leave until I started filming and calling the police. He then presented a certificate of Insurance that turned out to be from a cancelled policy. After repeated calls he has said he will not pay, he won't provide a valid COI, and said Good Luck getting paid, we just move the trucks to a new LLC so we don't have to pay and hung up. This company seems to operate as a cash business hoping nobody can spend the time to hold them accountable. The supposed owner/driver, Jerrod Ferguson, plays a game to avoid being responsible. I would avoid this company at all costs. There are other carriers that provide reliable and honest service.
