Transport of Chevy Tahoe and Malibu Ski Boat

I had used an 'online' service to try and find a company to transport my '04 Tahoe and a 20' Malibu ski boat from the Houston area to the Chicago area. I received 'automated' inquires from many transport companies but none of them really understood what my needs were. They did not understand, or take the time, to understand the boat that I had to transport. None of them instilled confidence they could get the job done. As I neared my move date (less than a week!) without a solution in place, I did a search for transport companies in the Houston area and came across New World Auto Transport. I completed their online quote form and expected the same kind of automated response as all the others had done. I could not have been more wrong. Within an hour I received a call (at 7:00pm) from Steve the owner. He asked quite a few questions about the boat and trailer and said he'd have his guys find me a solution in the morning. By 9:00am the next morning I had received a call from Ray. He had a few options that met my timeframe for pickup and delivery, at a fair price, and he put me on their schedule. Two days later an auto transport arrived on time. But... we could not load the boat. It turned out that the inside width of the boat trailer tires was wider than the ramp the guy had to load onto the hauler. I've moved the boat twice before and never thought of this as a possible issue. The total width of the trailer was always the issue. Got on the phone with Ray, explained what happened, and within 30 minutes he had another solution, a guy with a dually truck and a wedge trailer. The truck arrived the next day (which was OK as I was flexible on the pickup date) and he delivered the Tahoe and boat to Chicago 3 days later (on a Monday). Everything was exactly as it was when it left my place, excellent condition. Ray did a great job and when we had the initial load issue, he kept me at ease and found the right solution. He made sure that I was completely satisfied. And I was. Brad the driver was very professional and kept me informed of his progress on the trip. He arrived for the pickup exactly when he said he would, and dropped off exactly when he said he would. You can't ask for any more than that. I would not hesitate to use New World Auto Transport again.
