I actually thought that North American Transport were very good. However, they subcontracted the actual transport to a trucking company PRS (?) who were less than honest with then as to the pick-up date, the length of time it would take to deliver the car, keeping in communication with NAT as to there whereabouts, all of which resulted in the car not being delivered anywhere near the time that was guaranteed. The guarantee included me paying an additional $200 and although Tina, the manager told me that they would refund me the $200 for not getting he car to be by the date of guarantee, in the end they only refunded $100. The whole incident resulted in me losing the 2 buyers I had for the car to be be delivered to be well within the guaranteed time of delivery. Also, they picked up my car on Thursday evening, January 4 and told me that they were driving straight to California, which would have been an ETA of Tuesday, January 9 and they should have been able to deliver it to me further north in Santa Maria California by or before January 12 (agreed date). I subsequently discovered that the car was picked up on January 4, but they did not even leave Massachusetts until Monday, January 8. I was never given an answer from anyone, albeit that I questionned everyone that I had available to me, as to why my the transport truck did not leave MA. for 5 days after collecting my car and why they guaranteed a delivery date they had no control over. I am very disappointed overall and especially when they even reniged on the refund after all the stress and grief they caused me.

We are pleased you had a pleasant experience with North American Auto Transport. Our goal is to keep the customer informed and have the car arrive in a reasonable time frame no matter what. Our driver's have a great reputation of getting across country in less than 5 days to deliver cars even though we give a window of 7-10 days across country. Our driver was delayed for pick up because Interstate 40 was closed and he had to wait in Arizona for 2 days. North American Auto apologizes for the not being able to guarantee the delivery date Ms. Ferguson requested and paid an additional $100 for. This winter has had numerous amounts of winter storms which has included ice and snow in the southern US and even worse the further north you go. As no one has control of the weather and roads all over the country are being closed, we took off $100 from Ms. Ferguson's COD.
