I spent a lot of time researching companies, primarily on this website and decided finally to go with another company that, like Number One, had zero negative reviews. I did this because they indicated they thought they could get it done at a a lower price than Mickey from Number One had quoted me. I waited for approximately 10 days ( I wasn't really in any hurry) and nothing happened. The other company was unable to find a carrier at the price they had listed the move. I told them to increase the price to the same number that Mickey had quoted. They didn't follow my instructions and listed it at $100 less than I had indicated and still were unable to find any carrier. Mickey called me again and I explained what was going on. Mickey said I should tell the other broker that no long haul trucker was going to be willing to take on a cross country trip that ended in a little town maybe 90 miles north of LA and that they should change the trip request to indicate a final destination of Los Angeles. ( which is the same recommendation that Mickey had made to me earlier. At this point, I really wasn't willing to spoon feed the other broker and so I canceled the contract with them and went with Number One. Within about 3 days, Mickey had a carrier and within about 10 days my vehicle arrived in Los Angeles. There is a reason why this company has no negative reviews: they know what they're doing and they do what they say they will. In a business that seems like it's loaded with lots of disreputable characters, these reviews are a great way to home in on quality operations. And Number One Auto Transport is such a quality operation. Hats off to you Mickey !
