Well, with a sick parent & 3 small children, I combed the different websites and was terrified that either my deposit would be stolen and/or my car would never be picked up! The reviews for most of the companies were completely disheartening. I actually called a few other companies and could already see that I was on the path to a nightmare experience.

But then I happened to call Sam at No. 1. I had already accepted the fact that this process would take weeks and that I would have to be very assertive against all of the bad customer service.

I was very pleasantly surprised. I initially phoned Sam on a Thursday afternoon. I explained to him that I was on the East Coast and my car was back in the LA area in my cousin's driveway... He was polite, easy-going, helpful. Not at all pushy. He didn't ask me for a penny! The next afternoon, he informed me that my car could be picked up within a few hours. He asked for my cousin's contact info- and basically took over everything from there. It was like leaving the problem in the hands of a family-member! Not a single problem. I wasn't even sure that the car would start after so many weeks- "no problem". That's all I ever heard from this company- and they followed through- every time. Every single interaction was wonderful. They didn't even ask for my credit card until I happened to call THEM- a few days after my car was picked up!

My car arrived right on time just as I had left it...the driver was polite and navigated my car down a long driveway with ease. Handing me my keys and heading off with a smile...

Lastly, with the other companies...They would give me a quote and THEN, when I said "Range Rover...southern CA/Malibu"...they would put me on hold and come back on with some reason why they had to go significantly higher! Sam quoted me one price and never wavered-not once.
