Mixed Feelings

I had a 1992 Ford Bronco shipped from Denver Co to Los Angeles CA. I can't say enough good things about Armani from Passage Auto Transport. He was honest, and ALWAYS available to answer all my questions (very quick to answer, and at all hours). This was the first time I ever had to contract for vehicle transportation, and the horror stories found on-line left me with many questions. One has to keep in mind your vehicle is farmed-out by brokers to independent trucking companies. Once the vehicle is picked-up, you are really at the mercy of the trucking company. My vehicle was contracted to be moved by Sorbon Transportation. In contrast to all my positive feelings about Armani and Passage Auto Transport, I don't have much positive to share about Sorbon. Late pick-up - failed to pick-up three times after repeated phone calls on our end (no communication from them after failures to show-up), and missed stated delivery dates twice, and delivery times on the date of delivery twice as well. The comedy of errors and problems conveyed to me in transit could not be made-up. It was beyond the pale. Would I use Passage again? Yes. I believe they offered a fair price, and did their best to hold-up their end of the bargain (as much as was in their power). If I was told I had to use Sorbon Transportation again... I couldn't run away fast enough. I'd rather lose a few days of my life and drive my vehicle myself. So, my feelings about my experience is really a mixed bag. Ultimately, I did get my vehicle - just none of the promises I was originally given ever panned-out. Thankfully, I was not dealing with tight timelines, or this would have been a complete disaster.
