Brokers are your best bet

I would recommend Joel highly ... especially if you have better things to do than sort through carriers and quotes.

His service was outstanding, fast, and his commission was insignificant compared to the service and savings he rendered.

Here's my story ....

Before Joel, I filled out my form, and got about 25 phone & emails. The resposes amazed at the trash talking brokers get in the Auto transport industry.

A subset of these suggested I need to be "careful" of "evil brokers" who would take an evil "commission" for their service. According to the trash talkers ... even a small upfront credit card down payment is "evil". Most reasonable people would expect to provide some level of commitment given the effort & equipment being committed to the customer.

These same trash-talkers then (without exception) then send mind numbing quotes that defied common sense.

Here's why I think you SHOULD use a broker (Joel would be an excellent choice)

- Experienced across many carriers in the industry
- Does it every day, and knows the real pricing "bell curve" and what constitutes a real deal
- Knowledge of carriers that are excellent but don't have their own sales and marketing
- Knows which carriers specialize in certain routes (which lowers cost and increases pick up certainty)

I got a short, polite email from Joel .. and maybe a phone call. He didn't trash talk anyone. I told him my objective, gave him a range to work with ... and he had me set up with (what turned out to be) a great carrier in a little under an hour. His polite chuckle when he called me back was indicative that his quick-connect was "child's play" for him.

I gave a reasonable down pay on my ccard.

Including commission and final payment on the back end Joel saved me over $500. the carrier he chose was ... fantastic. He was also the quietest person who I spoke with ...
