Damage to vehicle Broker did nothing

Issue one could not meet original quoted price, first excuse near holiday, second time there was no excuse. Cost 100.00 over quote. Consequences would of been that the vehicle would of sat until someone needed another one in that zone (50 miles). I went with Patriot because of location of vehicle and broker (Florida). Transporter finally gets into town 6PM. Totally dark out, drops vehicle in the middle of the busiest street and tries to get me to sign off on it. This is after I gave him a parking lot big enough to put a 747 in. Told driver that it needed to go in the lot for inspection. Parks it away from overhead lights. First thing I pull out my flashlight and look at the top. Big scratch on top of my vehicle, tells me it will all wash out. I told him to write it down in the report, he would not, I would not sign. He decides he is going to do body work and hauls the car back on his trailer. Says he may have it done by 7am next day.
I call Michael and tell him my property was taken hostage and driver thinks he can do body work without my permission. 11am get the call to meet him. Don't know what he used, rubbing compound or fine grit sandpaper but it was milked (clear was destroyed). I could write pages on this matter but I have asked Michael to intervene on shipper with insurance and my report that driver would not sign after I wrote remarks and pointed out the damage. Michael has really done nothing about this matter in fact I will use his quote (I’m just a broker unfortunately I can't provide anything the driver has or speak for them ill call them tomorrow and see what I can do for you). Has he called me back, Michael did you call me back. I am just a broker! . I know Michael has many a good reports but what would you expect in this position. Am I exaggerating, price was 100 over quoted, shipper held hostage my property, shipper damaged my property, does shipper have rights to repair damage to my property.

Mike we provided you with the drivers insurance info when he returned the car you accepted it with the repairs that had been made. When I told you I would get in contact with the driver I did and the insurance as well. A claim was filed and the incident had been reported closed. This was last year we havent heard from you after that. Please contact me 888 553 5802
