Petit Transport picked up and delivered my car on time. While their price was slightly higher than some other bids I received, I decided to work with them because they did what no other transport company was willing to do: share in the risk of any delay in receiving my vehicle (i.e. possible incurred rental car expenses). The owner of the company offered this benefit to me on the day that his wife was in labor in the hospital. He earned my trust by trusting me to pay our deposit after the fact, offering rental car vouchers if needed and stipulating these safety nets in our agreement. I asked for similar guarantees from the other 5 transport companies I spoke with, but Petit was the only one that stepped up to the plate and made it happen.
