Gilbert at Philam transport was very knowledgeable and walked us through the process. However, apparently it is difficult to get cars from East coast to Utah. This required an extra $200 to have the vehicle stored while a transporter was found. This was explained to us up front and we did agree to this. However, what may have been explained to us, but not emphasized, as I don't remember this being discussed, is that the initial quote had to be increased from$1,150 to $1,500 to finally get someone to agree to bring the car to Utah. We were unaware that the initial quote was changeable after the car was already picked up. The car made it here safely and seems to run fine. Gilbert was very nice and available at all hours and we do appreciate him walking us through the process and we probably would use this company again. Next time we will perhaps consider our starting and ending destination a little bit more carefully to avoid the pricing change in the future.
