In late November, i bought a car in NJ as a Christmas present for my father. The same year, color and type of car he bought when he returned from fighting in Korea. A 1950 Pontiac Chieftian 2 dr. He sold it back in 1960, in order to move here in California to start a new life. He became a Police officer when he arrived, and retired many years agp. A few years ago, at his 70th birthday party, he told the family how much he missed his first car, and that not a day goes by that he doesnt think about that car. Well, that thought kept me thinking, and when I found a car just like his, I bought it. When it was time to ship the car, I spend several days, yes days, on the computer, making sure the company that was going to deliver the car was honest, and would get it here on time. So many of the negative reviews are due to late deliveries, or no shipment at all. After all that effort, I found Gilbert of PHILAM TRANSPORT. He had the same name as I do, as my father does, and even my son. I just had a good feeling. The car was picked up on time, and even through all the snow and rain we all had the weeks prior to Christmas, the car arrived before Christmas eve, as I needed. I was so happy with the service of all involved, I even tipped the driver an extra few 20s. I was Christmas after all. Ho Ho Ho
To end the story, my dad loved the car, he cried, I cried, and I have pictures to prove it. First time in my 50 yr life I had seen him cry. Best, best Christmas ever. Gil
