After talking to more than 10 companies I chose Polar Express because Austin Kelley promised me a couple things no one else could. Most important was the pickup date because I was driving from DC to Seattle a week before my family was scheduled to fly. When I left town I planned on my wife to release the car to the truck driver. The scheduled pickup date came and went with no call OR email from anyone to keep me informed with what was going. While driving cross country I had to call them to find out what was going on, I was told they were working on it and would call me back in an hour. That call never came. After 3 days and over 15 unanswered calls I had to make while driving I finally get in touch with a rude female in dispatch. Even though the scheduled pickup date had passed I was told my car could be picked up that very day if I threw in another $200! I guess the contract I made and down payment I paid can be changed at their will? I said I was not paying anymore than what the contract stated. Another couple days pass and by this point my wife and son had to board their flight and this puts me in a position of who is going to take the keys and sign my vehicle off to the driver when ever he would arrive. Thankfully I had a nice neighbor that would do that for me. I finally made it to Seattle by driving and my wife and son have flown in and my car still sat in DC. I called dispatch yet again just to be told they were still working on it and once again if I paid more they could have it picked up for me ASAP. I said no again. I finally decided the transaction needed to be canceled, I stated I wanted a full refund or I was contacting the Better Business Bureau and my credit card company for a charge back. They agreed to cancel the contract and to refund me. I called a few new transport companies to get the job done and the very next day my car was on the back of a truck heading my way. I also learned that Polar was only a few months old and already had complaints against them, guess I should have done my homework first. My issues: Promises were made to get the business and then weren’t filled. Promised pickup date came and went and not a single call to keep me informed that it wasnt' going to be picked up. Kept asking for more money even though we had a contract for a set amount. Update: I was promised to still receive the gas voucher if I would just remove my 1st review so I removed it as a favor. Week(s) went bye and nothing arrived so I contacted Polar, evertime I contacted them I was told the same thing 'It was just sent out". Almost 2 months later still no voucher so the review goes back up!
