- Once again, P.E.A.T. has justified my claims about them. Even with a valid Transport Quote and two names of their representatives, they still pursued to remove my review because "they were unable to locate my order". Not only do they provide little to no customer service, they are deceitful conniving liars. From their petty attempt to remove my review (common with most negative reviews towards P.E.A.T. on Transport Reviews), I highly doubt some of the positive reviews are legitimate.
Don't let the cheap price, catchy ad and fake professionalism fool you. Once you sign on the dotted line, they've already hooked you and that's when everything goes downhill. It'll take a tremendous amount of time to get your money back, IF POSSIBLE. To get a live person, you will be placed on hold for a long period of time listening to the same tired music that loops over and over again. It was over a month and my vehicle was still not picked up and delivered. They gave me 4x (four) false pick up dates. In the end, Jessica said the vehicle's location was out of the driver's route so I requested a FULL refund and she has the audacity to enact a $50 service fee due to cancellation. On the last false pick up date, she promised a FULL refund within 7-10 business days. At the same time, I found a driver on uShip.com and almost instantaneously, he was out to Wisconsin to pick up my car. Even with a full load of deliveries, he managed to deliver my car for almost the same price within 6 business days. I still cannot comprehend how a man physically deliver my car, nearly coast to coast before P.E.A.T. can process a refund. How incompetent can a company be?!!!
It has been well over a month and 2 weeks and I still have yet to see ANY positive service from P.E.A.T. There incompetence in EVERYTHING, from finding a suitable driver to refunding my money led me to opening a chargeback claim with my credit card company. Do not believe all the positive reviews. It is NOT a coincidence that all the negative reviews are almost identical, their service is THAT BAD. Do yourself a favor and learn from my valuable lesson. P.E.A.T. is a no good company who cares nothing about their customers. All they did for me was took my time, my money and in turn, gave me nothing but grief, runarounds and false promises. I read a review somewhere that it got so bad, they changed their company’s name. Check out their BBB score before working with them. (I believe they're D rated) Usually I wouldn’t care so much about $50 but I will never let the likes of these people get even a penny from me. They claim to be so professional with their fancy website and 800 number, youl expect their emails to have their website’s domain but instead, they use Google Mail as their business communication. STAY AWAY!
