Arranged to ship car from Arizona to Oregon. Worked with Liam and received a quote for $700.
Day before pickup, Liam called to say the hauler's truck was in an accident and couldn't pick up car. He said he tried to find a replacement and the only hauler available was for $1400. Due to our circumstances, I had to say yes. I did receive my car as promised with no other issues.
A few weeks afterwards, our neighbor requested a quote from Pride to transport to California. Got the same quote and the same story about an accident with shipper. Because I suspected I was conned, my neighbor was warned and was able to argue with Pride and got a much better price. In my book, Pride was a very dishonest broker with shady practices!
