I originally asked for a quote with the pick-up date of Nov. 29 in mind. Knowing full well the pick-up date was around the upcoming holiday season, Robert Gray gave me the initial quote of $400 that included the deposit. I thought it was a good deal so I booked with the company, never changing the original pick-up date.
When the pick-up day came, the driver notified that he had encountered a flat tire, which ended up delaying the pick-up date by a day. I understand that things happened, but the fact remains that the driver was late (by a full day) to pick up my car. In addition, I was told that the driver wanted more money, which then raised the cost of my initial quote to a full $550 total. So not only did the car get picked up late, but I was charged $150 more than what I was quoted.
Overall, the service was good and they do their best to keep you in the loop the entire way. My car came in the condition it was picked up in and arrived within the estimated 2-3 days time frame. But the fact that the driver was late and I was charged MUCH MORE than I thought makes me hesitant to book this company again.
