On first contact, pickup was promised for a Monday but was not achieved until Thursday. When pickup was arranaged, Progessive told the collecting driver the wrong town, even though the pickup address has been communicted in writing numerours times. To make correction for this error, Progressive raised thier quote by $100 at the last minute. The vehicle arrived on the east coast more or less as scheduled but delivery was further delayed, day by day for 8 days, the driver claiming to have a mechnical problem with the truck. Whether this is true or not, as the broker, we paid Progressive to find a reputable and relibale transporter. In this case, they clearly failed.
