I should have researched this process better. I saw good ratings for Q Auto and assumed they handled the whole process. no. They were a referral service, at least for me, for my cross country delivery. they stuck me with Abraham Express.
I will state the one positive thing about AE first - the only person that was a pleasure to speak to at this company or had any idea what he is doing was Caesar. He was the only person who kept my sanity intact whenever I called there and deserves to work somewhere better, to be frank. Anyway, DO NOT use this company. They picked my car up on time, date wise, BUT they got it at 10 at night, so my poor parents had to wait on them when they are usually in bed by then. The only person who ever contacted my folks to pick up the car, or called me ONCE to tell me how to pay for the car, barely spoke English. They never kept me in communication and when I tried to call to get an update, more than half the time, their voicemail box was full and no one picked up. The few times I reached them, except for Caesar, I spoke to someone else who again, barely spoke English, never took down my phone numbers the first few times I gave it to him, and when I called the day my car was to be delivered to me, I was casually told it wouldn't be delivered until "Monday or Tuesday". No sorry, no communication to myself or the referring company Q Auto Transport, nothing. It was like speaking to a wall every time I spoke to his gentleman. Nothing I hate worse than speaking to someone who has zero communication skills and has no work ethic or accountability.
I finally got my answer from Caesar, who does speak perfect English and is very personable, who said my car would be there Thursday and he was sorry for all the miscommunications. Regardless, it doesn't make up for how inconvenient and lousy the service was. Even when they called to state they were ten minutes away to deliver, the guy I spoke to who barely understood English once again failed to tell them they said they would deliver my car at work, since they inconvenienced me by not delivering on the weekend, or giving me any heads up. so on top of all of my time they wasted, I had to use a whole lunch break to sign paperwork and find a parking spot for my car.
moral of the story: if Q Auto says Abraham Express is the carrier, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
