I originally booked with another company that offered door-to-door coverage and that seemed fool-proof. They even told me I could reject the carrier if I didn't like them - turned out the carrier that they planned on using had terrible reviews on Transport Reviews; including damage to vehicles. I not only rejected the carrier but felt that the original transporter really hadn't investigated them and had no concern for my car which is only a few months old. Luckily I found Chris Davis with Quality Car Move as a result of looking up the other carrier's reviews. He was located in South Florida, had good reviews and immediately answered my call and showed care that he not select the same carrier. He gave me a fair quote, kept me up to date on potential times my car could be picked up based on when I needed it in Florida. Chris even returned phone calls when I decided not to leave a message because he saw he had a missed call. Also while other companies informed me my car might be picked up 10 days after I wanted and I had to give them a window, Chris did his best to meet times that worked for me. My car was delivered today, I was in contact with the driver, Eddy, several times from the pick-up in California to the delivery in Florida. He also answered his phone each time I called - which made me feel that I was doing business with the right people. The car is in good shape and drove well and really wasn't as dirty as I expected considering I read so many reviews about open carriers.
