We had a good experience working with Red Carpet Auto Transport. Shawn was very friendly, professional and attentive to our needs. The quality of service provided was excellent. Shawn was easily reachable by phone and email. He was excellent at following up on conversations and making sure our needs were being met. We felt confident that our vehicle would be taken care of and that we would be setup with a reliable trucking company. The only problems we ran into were with the actual trucking company. The driver was late with both pick-up and delivery, which was frustrating as the dates were changed on multiple occassions. The driver was 6 days late delivering the vehicle, after repeatedly claiming that he would deliver it at a specific date/time. The date he was finally going to deliver the vehicle was on a Saturday, a day that was very inconvenient for us to accept delivery of the vehicle. The driver stated that he could wait to deliver the vehicle the following day but that we would be charged an additional $500. We thought this was absurd given that we had been waiting, and available for days. Of course the driver held all the cards, having our vehicle in his possession, and we suffered the burden of altering an entire day of plans to wait for him to deliver the vehicle. (His window for delivery was an entire day, no time frame was given) Most of our dissatisfaction is with the trucking company and driver and should only reflect on Red Carpet Auto Transport in that they connected us with this trucking company.
