I moved to Utah and about 2 weeks after moving here, quickly realized my car would not be suited for the snow etc.
Luckily my Dad was looking for a car and offered to take mine off of my hands. The only challenge is that I live in Salt Lake City and my Father lives in Brownsville, Texas.
After gonig back and forth on who would fly where and who would drive where we decided to look into auto transport. I came across Red Carpet on this web site and saw some favorable reviews. Also, having lived in Phoenix where Red Carpet is based gave me a little comfort as well.
After calling Shawn at Red Carpet he explained step by step what the transport entailed I quickly gained confidence. After calling a few other transport company I felt most comfortable with the level of service and the competitive quote provided by Red Carpet and Shawn.
After about a week, we decided to book with Shawn and things rolled quickly. The day my car was made avaiable for pick up I got a call from Shawn and the driver. Shortly after getting off the phone with the transporters I cal my Father to give him the final plans. Of course, since nothing is ever extremely easy in my life, my Father goes on to tell me the plans won't work due to a death in the family and related servcies. I immediately call Shawn and he takes the news in stride...assures me he'll take care of the problem and will call me back after making a few phone calls. Sure enough I get a text and a call from Shawn and he took care of everything. Luckily Red Carpet was able to hold the car in a secured location until my Father was home. The car was picked up when promised, the driver was patient, detail oriented, gave me his personal number as well as his office's number. I felt very at ease seeing "my baby" being put on the truck.
From this point everything was seeamless. My Father recieved the car on time and in the exact same shape it left in. Shawn and Red Carpet did a stand up job working with me, my insecurities of auto transport and our hickup due to a sad family situation. I would definitely recommend and use again if I needed them!
