After doing a large amount of research I narrowed my choice of carriers down to Red Carpet and another company. In the end I went with the other company first because of a more extensive website and online videos etc. After signing on with them I waited over a week with no movement on my car. I called and emailed the broker with no response. At this point I called Julie with Red Carpet (602-428-6878) to ask her for an assessment of what the issue was. To me the pickup and delivery locations were not out of the way so there should not have been a problem scheduling a truck. Julie looked up recent transactions and honestly told me that the broker I was using has posted my vehicle on Central Dispatch at $1,250 to the driver and that the last transaction from similar locations with the size of truck were at $1,300+. She suggested that I increase the price offered to the driver to $1,300 or $1,350 and I would probably get picked up soon. I called the other broker back but he didn't return my calls so I cancelled my order with them and called Julie@ Red Carpet back at 6PM to ask her to schedule a delivery. I got a call back from Julie at 9AM the next morning confirming that a truck had been scheduled to pickup my truck.

I give five stars to Julie and to Red Carpet for being up front and honest about the cost of shipping. They didn't low-ball me and leave me hanging, they were honest about the cost of transporting a full-size SUV with the cost of gas and what it would take to get someone to want to transport it. I wish I had followed my gut and gone with Red Carpet from the beginning. I know I will be calling Julie and Red Carpet for all my future shipping needs.
