If I could give these people minus stars I would. So the story starts with my company relocating me for a new management position and these people (or so I thought) were picked to move my Corvette. This Corvette was a low mile one owner covered collectors car in showroom condition which they signed off on. There was absolutely not a nick on this thing. I had no choice but to go with them as my company's subcontractor NuCompass handles the relocations and uses them. So from the move from Las Vegas to San Francisco the car shows up on time but damaged heavily by sandblasting, rock chips, and is covered in dirt and grease. The first problem was the guy who delivered the vehicle with no truck in sight with a shit eating grin on his face as he says "wow, nice car." Dude barely spoke English and was very reluctant to let me put any damage I found on his sheet to give me. The car was covered in damage, it didn't even look like the same car to tell you the truth. The guy had no permission to drive my car other than on and off the truck (which wasn't anywhere, and he miraculously put 8 miles on the car at an average of 3.6 mpg...yeah, I reset the gauge before I handed over the keys so this guy was beating on my baby. Furthermore, it looked like someone took a dirty rag to wipe down the whole car and just ground in dirt and grease causing micro scratches everywhere. Fast forward to me filing the claim for an estimate of $11,500 because the car needs a new paint job...I was quoted this amount within a thousand or so by 3 garages. Being a mechanic/engineer and coming from a family that collects Corvettes I knew this was a fair estimate. Reindeer Automotive Relocation "hires" their own guy, an adjuster to come look at it. Guy pulls up in a rusted out Mazda POS and tries to figure out what is going on, when he leaves he specifically says to me, "wow, that's a lot of damage." Three days later I get a adjusted amount for the claim to finalize everything for a $25 car wash coupon and $1750 for buffing. ROTFLMFAO
Well, now I have to get my whole company involved because they hired these idiots and sue them. I followed all of their instructions, requests, made the claim timely, cooperated with their sleezy adjuster, and took many photos for them showing the damage. Their excuse was they don't cover road damage, however they took possession of my property and used 2 other people to haul it of which I was not allowed to see their insurance or know what they cover. We shall see what the courts decide, but I would highly recommend not using these people to haul anything for you because they subcontract it down to the lowest bidders and these people probably don't even carry insurance or give a flying hoot about your property. The guy had no permission from me to drive my car, to beat my car, to wipe down my car with dirty rags and furthermore a company that takes control of someone says property is liable for ANY damage done to that property while in their possession.
In a nutshell, Reindeer Automotive Relocation are criminals, and they will do anything to get out of doing the ethical/right thing and honoring a legit claim. Pay attention to the other people reviewing the same thing because they aren't lying either. The customer service is nonexistent, they are simply a broker to the lowest bidder of transporters, and don't back their "VIP" product. Absolutely Rubbage! You can contact me at jgooch@siu.edu and hear more about it if you would like, I am just trying to save somebody else the time, grief, and blood pressure of dealing with these morons. Watch out for Jessica in claims, she would sell her first born up a river for a spiff for denying someone their due amount.

Hello, Mr. Gooch. Your claim was for over $11,000 to repair and repaint every panel of his vehicle. Based on the high dollar amount, we paid to send out an independent third party adjuster to inspect your vehicle and provide us with an estimate based on damages that were a result of carrier negligence or mishandling. Per the Load Agreement you signed prior to transit, the drivers are not liable for rock chips, paint chips, etc. Your vehicle was schedule to be transported on an open carrier. This was explained and also on the Load Agreement you signed. The driver cannot prevent outside influences such as the weather and road debris from coming into contact with the vehicles when transported on an open carrier. Due to this, claims for road debris damage are not covered under cargo liability. You even listed the damages on your claim form as rock chips. Rock chips are specifically excluded from carrier ability. We received the order to transport your vehicle on an open carrier, and so we did. All the paperwork we supplied you with also advised this was an open transit move. Each driver is required to have adequate insurance in order to haul a vehicle for us. The driver that transported your vehicle does have valid and sufficient insurance coverage. However, that does not mean he is required to cover any and every claim you make. The adjuster inspected your vehicle and we sent an offer based on his assessment. That offer includes the scratch on the rear bumper and for a full exterior detail. This will remove any and all minor imperfections not down to the metal. Before even sending any settlement offer, you threatened legal action on 2 separate occasions. Despite that, we did proceed with reviewing your claim and paying to send out an adjuster so we could have an accurate inspection done on your vehicle. We made a settlement offer based on that assessment and the additional evidence provided in your claim.I understand you do not agree with the this offer. However, we are unable to honor your claim in full based on the evidence provided.
