I live in a beach town on the coast of NC. I thought the car would be shipped immediately, which is the first mistake! I chose Brian from reliable because it was mid range in the price quotes. Brian was very honest and upfront. He always kept me updated about the status of the car whenever I asked. He is a broker to try to get your car on the national board to get your car shipped. Once your car is accepted, he makes the arrangements, gives out your phone number to the truck and your truck picks it up.
After a few days, the car didn't get picked up for the board. This is most likely because I live in a small town away from national interstate highway. If you live far away (2.5 hrs like i do) you might have a longer wait time and you have to be either patient or just willing to drive it closer to the interstate. Luckily, my parents live in a bigger city near the interstate. I had my parents drive the car back to where they live.
Brian changed my location and then, we immediately got a truck who would take the car. I thought this was over then. But then the truck never came, the trucker never called me. I had to keep calling him. He gave me excuse after excuse, which might have been true, but nonetheless, I felt like he was not interested. My car was supposed to be picked up on Friday, never heard from him, kept calling every day. He said the truck needed repair. Everyday, I would call and there was no update, other than the truck was not fixed.
Finally, after 5 days, I decided to call Brian back. I updated him with the situation of my trucker not picking up my car. Immediately, Brian put the car back on the board, within an hour I got a phone call that my car was being picked up by that evening. The car was picked up and was delivered to destination in 2 days!
The total time was approx 2 weeks from the time of posting the car for availiability, but if you can control factors like where you are having your car shipped from, you should have no problems.
Brian was very helpful and I would use him again to find me a car transporter!
