I was a first-timer to this process. Harold explained to me how it works (I was totally surprised). I was nervous to use a broker and had hoped to work directly with a carrier when I first started researching the process. Now I'm glad I didn't. My service from Rite Way was great. My service from the carrier (Excellent Auto or something like that) was not. They arrived a day early with no warning and made me meet them 15 minutes away instead of delivering to my door as agreed. Well, they would have delivered to my door but I would have had to wait another day. Also, after they inspected my car and we agreed to the terms and signed the bill of lading, they called and threatened to take my car back to VA because I had packed belongings in the trunk (which they had never told me I couldn't do). The driver actually yelled at me. I called Harold, quite upset, and he told me he would take care of it. (Rite Way told me I could pack 100 lbs in the trunk, which was an industry standard.) He did indeed take care of it, and when my car was delivered everything was intact and the driver was as nice as could be (funny how he changed his tune). It was great having Rite Way's help since this guy was trying to take me for a ride. Their customer service was great and they kept me informed and totally had my back. When helping me decide on a cost to ship my car, Harold worked with me to get my trip priced right so I could get my car when I wanted it. All in all a completely nerve-wracking experience made much less so by Rite Way. I would definitely recommend them. I hope I never have to use them again, but that's just because I hope never to have to ship a car again! If I did, I would call them first. Thanks for everything, Harold and Rite Way.
