I was contacted by Josh King for a pick up from Austin, Tx and delivery to Wilmington, NC. Josh was exceptional and very easy to deal with. He called me with updates often and also a follow up call that was really appreciated. He was very professional and knowledgeable.

I did however have a big problem with the truck driver who delivered my vehicle. I paid money to have my car picked up at an address and dropped off at an address, this didn't happen. Instead I get a call from the driver telling me he was four hours away and asked if I could meet him somewhere different because he had another car he had to pick up at that address and that it would be easier for him to meet me where he was already going. I reminded him that he had my car and no I couldn't meet him anywhere else other than the agreed upon location which was my girlfriends apartment. he retorted that he "did do" apartments and that I didn't know what I was talking about because I didn't drive a truck. I told him that I had a plan laid out that he wouldn't have to get stuck in an apartment complex because it has a road straight through it and that he would have no problem getting in or out. He told me that we would figure something out and he'd call me when he was closer. He then contacted my girlfriend (which was a secondary contact if I couldn't get off work to pick up my car) and complained to her about him not doing apartments and that I, once again, didn't know what I was talking about. She asked him why he called her sense he already talked to me and that I was handling everything. Once he got into town he called me once more. telling me that he tried and that there was "no way" that he could come to the apartment complex. As he was telling me this I was watching an 18 wheeler restock a bar/restaurant on the street I told him to pull into. I told him of that and he said that he didn't know what to tell me and then he was not pulling onto the street. he said he was at 23rd street and didn't know the cross street and that if I wanted my car I would have to come to him. So I started walking to 23rd street (he had "no idea" what cross street he was at). From where I was 23rd was about 3 miles away. I told him that it would take me about 30-35 min to get there because I had to walk. He then said ok and that he was going to have my car loaded off the truck when I got there. I walk about ten minutes and he calls me again. I ask him again what his cross street was and the said Princess Street and 23rd. which now makes my journey about 6 miles. I said I'd call him back. I was looking up numbers for a cab to take me there and he calls again and just says "look up" I look up and he is DRIVING MY CAR. I cross the street very upset and soaking wet from all the sweat. he gets out of the car and all he said was "take me back to my truck". I get in and drive him back to his truck and I am livid at this point. we get there I give him his FULL AMOUNT and sign a receipt and then drive off. When I got back to the apartment complex there was grease on my diver and passenger seats as well as other places in my car. I noticed when he picked me up that he had grease on him hands and pants....

Josh called me yesterday to follow up. I let him know about all this and he apologized repeatedly and said that he would bring it up to his manager at once. Josh, as I said earlier, was extremely polite and professional.

Overall I would love to work with Josh again but there is no way that will happen unless the truck drivers wrongs are righted to me. I paid for a delivery service that didn't hold up it's end of the bargain. I do understand that yall contract out jobs to drivers and that he wasn't an employee. But this does fall on Riteway because yall hired this guy and my girlfriend and I had to deal with his unprofessionalism, flat out rudeness and complete lack of care for the customer.

Thanks for taking the time to read my review and I look forward to hearing from you all soon.
