Jeff & Linda Gifford at River City are a great team! I contacted several of the top ten companies and they were the only ones who did not insist on a deposit before discussing dates, carriers, etc. I originally thought I wanted the car moved in December; as soon as they had a carrier, they emailed me and verified my intention. I wrote back that I could no longer make that week and needed to wait two weeks. Their response: no problem, let us know what date you need. Almost two weeks later, I wrote that I needed the car moved within the next seven days. Within two days, they wrote that they had a very reliable individual who was taking a carrier west if I was still interested. The timing was perfect. I spoke with them and agreed to a contract. They were paid 150 after thay had arranged for the car to be transported. They set me up with Bill Conyers who was pleasant and professional. The car was delivered to the door in the Bay Area a day earlier than promised - in perfect condition.
I would recommend the Giffords to anyone. They were available, attentive and took care of our move very professionally.
