Once you make a reservation RoadRunner starts sending you 6 texts and 6 emails a day regarding their "Terms and Conditions" contract. The representatives are not trained to tell you that as soon as you electronically sign their "Terms and Conditions" contract via text that your card will be charged the full amount. It's a shipment terms contract not a billing contract. When I provided this feedback I was told the first line of the contract states very clearly that my card would be charged and implied that I was an idiot for not seeing this. So I went back and looked at the "Terms and Conditions" contract and there is no such statement it goes into "Definitions" and a lot of legalese. There is nothing stating that the full amount will be charged to such and such card number. It is misleading interface and receiving that many texts/emails for a veiled billing contract is harassment for your money fast. Rather than taking my concerns and frustrations seriously, I received a condescending and defensive attitude from customer service which does not create trust in me as a potential client so I canceled.

Erin, thank you for providing us with the opportunity to address this issue. In the payment section of our terms and conditions contract, the first line reads, “Customer credit card will be charged when Carrier is assigned”. Our multiple attempts to communicate with you over the course of one week would have stopped had this contract been promptly addressed, however if it is not accepted, we cannot continue to work towards assigning a carrier for your shipment. We always refrain from excessively reaching out to our customers unless further action is required. We regret that you chose to cancel with us before we were able to assist you with your vehicle’s relocation.
