I spoke with many carriers before I came across Roadway Auto Transport. I had pretty much exhausted all of my options and went ahead and booked with another company. I never felt really good about the company that I had initially chosen so I kept putting them off for quite a while. I decided to take one last look on the internet and randomly found Roadway. When I called, Jim who is the owner, he was very engaging and he even told me how he got into the business. He also was interested in hearing about my situation as to why I was moving my car across the country. We spoke for about 30 min and he seemed like he really wanted to help me get my car from California to Alabama. He had Stacie (one of his employees) contact me right away. Upon speaking with her, I was quite certain I had made the right decision to go with this company. From beginning to end, Stacie was by my side. She kept in contact with me at every stage of the game. I let her know that I was somewhat anxious about transporting my vehicle from the West coast to the East coast, but she made me feel like I never had anything to worry about. We eventually picked a date that my car would be shipped and I told her that I needed my vehicle promptly and she assured me that my vehicle would arrive before I did. I felt as though she was very professional, courteous, and honest throughout the whole process. At one point, Stacie booked a carrier out of California for me but he turned out to be very shady and kept putting her and I off as to when he would be able to pick up the vehicle. Stacie was fully aware of the problem; and immediately, she removed him as my carrier and was able to find another carrier the same day. That carrier showed up that evening and everything went off without a hitch. This carrier was professional and had my car in Alabama in the time frame he promised. My car beat me to Alabama. I just want to thank Jim and Stacie for making this process smooth and uncomplicated. You guys rock! When my husband returns from Afghanistan in September, we are going to ship his car from California to Virginia using Roadway. I am blessed to have found this company. Jim gave me a military discount as well- so I was able to save a little bit of money. Also, Jim let me pay with a credit card which means, I did not have to come up with cash on the back end. I just can't say enough about the folks at Roadway Auto Transport. In no way am I being paid for this review. I think that is shady to accept money to let everyone know when you are extended awesome customer service. If you are looking to transport your vehicle, please give them a shot- you will not be disappointed. Regards and good luck with your car transport!! Christy Roy
