Hired SDM Transport to move a car from IL to FL. Originally, we had it scheduled to ship when Hurricane Dorian was going to hit. For safety reasons, we reschedule for a week later. They were good about rescheduling. When we re-booked, we said it had to be there by the 10th and no later, as no one would be there to receive it after the 10th. We told them they could pick it up at any time but the 10th was a must delivery date for us. They picked the car up on the 5th saying that was plenty of time. The car didn’t leave their yard until the 9th (GPS told us that) and was delivered a day late which caused issues on our end and cost us extra dollars. If we didn’t call constantly to check on it, I’m not sure what would have happened. Very disappointed in their lack of communication with us which caused undo stress.
