I looked into several shipping companies, and was extremely worried about which one to choose. I finally picked one and when I tried calling back the # they gave me, I was connected to some sort of call center. (and was eligible to win $100.00) This made me uncomfortable and I hung up. Then I returned a call from Mike at Safeway Car Transport. Mike spent time explained the process with me, and made me feel very comfortable. I decided to go for it. I paid a deposit of $125.00. On some sites I read not to do a deposit, and spoke with Mike about this as well. It makes the process easier, but he said if I wasn't comfortable we could hold off on it. I was okay with the deposit. Mike told me he would call me when he had a carrier. (I had given him a 3 day window of pick up since I wasn't in a big hurry). I didn't bother him everyday, and just waited for him to call me. He called the day my car was getting picked up, and gave me the information on the driver. My mom was there at pick up, and the driver, Mel, was wonderful to her, made her feel at ease, and took care of everything. I also didn't keep calling the driver. I knew he was busy driving and didn't want to keep interrupting him. Mel called me when he was about 3 hours away, then kept me posted as he got close to my house. My car arrived safe and sound. Mel was terrific! He took great care of my car, was friendly, and an all around good guy. I highly, highly recommend this company! Mike really made this easy, the way it should be, and I am so thankful! My advice is to go with Mike, he will find a great carrier for you, then just sit back and relax. You are in good hands.
