Full refund was the only benefit

This company jerked us around for close to 2 weeks! My family lived on a military installation in Southern California and needed to move to MD. We decided to ship a vehicle with Sealand because they seemed to have great customer service when I originally called. We had scheduled our vehicle pick up two weeks prior to needed it picked up. Unfortunately, when that date came and went we never received word from the company as to when it would be picked up. I phoned and was told it would be "today or tomorrow". We though this was great until "tomorrow" came and it still was not picked up. These shenanigans continued for close to two weeks. At one point the the company called and expected the individual that was keeping the vehicle to drive 40 miles to the closest freeway in order to meet a driver at 10pm at night that same day. When they gave us the quote they should have looked at our location and anticipated if it would be a problem for a carrier to go there to pick up the vehicle. It was supposed to be "door-to-door", not "truck stop to door"! The day that I had finally had enough and requested a refund was when I received an email stating that I should pay additional money to offer as a bonus to a driver willing to pick up the vehicle in an "expedited manner". I'm sorry but when it was supposed to be picked up two weeks prior, it has passed the point of anything being "expedited"! Do not use this company if you need your vehicle in any semblance of a realistic timeframe.

WE HAD AN ASSIGNED CARRIER FOR THIS CUSTOMER. SHE HAD DESIGNATED A DIFFERENT PERSON AT PICK UP END TO RELEASE VEHICLE AND SHE DID NOT PROPERLY COORDINATED PICK UP WITH DRIVER. THIS CUSTOMER PUT IN A REFUND CANCELLATION AND WE REFUNDED IN FULL.
