Car Shipment from OKC to NYC

I shipped a Landcruiser from Oklahoma City to NYC this summer. I used Honesty First (now known as Safe-Direct) as my broker, and I was very pleased at how easy the process was and with the results. To avoid disappointment it is essential you understand how this business operates. I especially appreciated Tom Miller clearly explaining the process and then staying in touch with me while the vehicle was undergoing repairs and I had to keep postponing the pick up date. It took a few days to find a willing carrier, but the job was accepted very soon after we upped the bid a little bit just a few days after the car was ready for pick up. It was on the truck and on its way within less than 24 hours after that and it arrived right on time. The carrier was Rayon Trucking Corp. out of El Paso, and there were no problems. Although they were unable to get their large truck into Manhattan, I was able to communicate with the driver and we easily found an alternate drop-off location nearby. I was expecting they would call when they were more than just two hours away, but they arrived at about the earliest time Tom told me to expect them so I really can't complain. If I ever have to move a car again, my first call will be to Safe-Direct.

I was offered a small incentive to write a review, but that was months ago and of little consequence to me. I am writing because this was the first time I ever had a need for this service and it was very helpful to read about the experiences of other customers. I have no doubt that I might have had a less pleasant experience with another combination of broker and carrier; I am contributing this to help other customers choose a broker, to encourage excellence in the industry, and as thanks for a job well done.
