This was the first time that I have shipped a car and I was very hesitant about the process. After getting several quotes, I selected Safe-Direct because of their good reviews on this site. Their price was not the highest or lowest, but seemed reasonable compared to what others have reported for shipping a car from Florida to California.

I worked with Tom at Safe-Direct. My car was assigned to a carrier and Tom gave me their contact info. I checked the carrier's reviews on this site and didn't like what I found. Plus, they had numerous BBB complaints. I informed Tom that I wanted a different carrier with better reviews, so he worked with me and found Wheels on Wheels Carriers. They had good reviews, actually picked the car up earlier than the first carrier had promised, and delivered the car in only 5 days with no problems.

I communicated with Tom by both phone and e-mail. The communication was great - Tom handled my concerns with the process and selecting a carrier, and met my timeframe for getting the car delivered. I am very satisfied and would use Safe-Direct again.
