Safe-direct worked well for me. Due to the variable nature of the car shipping business (after a LOT of research into how it works etc.), I ask for a pick up date a few days earlier than I originally intended. The carrier was not available until the original date that I was considering having them pick the car up (that was a lucky one!). The carrier came right near my house on the day that they said they would and took very careful inspection of my car. The only problem that I had was that the carrier came WAY early. I was trying to move still and had difficulty getting to the drop off location (originally they were set to arrive on Monday the following week and they actually came on Thurs.- - just 3 days after picking up my car! WEEW!!) It worked out ok all in all. Just a word of advise to those who read this far: flexibility! You make room for things to happen and you wont have any trouble. The broker does not move your car, so make sure that you are satisfied with the carrier you are given (Safe-direct was accommodating with this, although I did not change the carrier).
