I highly recommend Safe-Direct car shipping and also the transport company they connected me with, Downsouth Auto. We live in New England and my daughter has just finished her studies for her PhD and had set up to do her postdoctoral work in California, so I started checking for information on how to ship her car cross-country. And then my daughter’s friend decided to look for a software job in the same area and found one so I now needed to send two cars out to California. I found transportreviews web site to be very helpful in deciding which transport broker to go with. Safe-Direct car shipping was highly rated and I found their site’s short videos explaining the process very informative. Even though I was leaning towards choosing them just from the quality and directness of their videos, I still asked for quotes from several of the 5 star transport brokers. Once I contacted them with my car shipping requirements, they very quickly sent me back a quote that was within a few dollars of all the other quotes, so I went with them. Their broker Tom contacted me right away, first by email and then when I called with a question, Tom immediately called back with the answer. The pickup and delivery of both cars with Downsouth Auto went perfectly smooth and the driver was very knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely use Safe-Direct again if I ever have to transport cars again and will recommend them to family or friends if they ever need this type of service.
