SAFE DIRECT, But not timely

Jason was an okay broker but but did no followup on my order to let me know he was even aware of any issues. However, the actual transporter of our vehicle (TES Transportation, Inc.) was terrible at keeping us informed about pickup and delivery times. We were told vehicle would be picked up on Saturday and delivered on Tues. and would be called Friday to let us know what time to expect pickup. I called when I didn't hear anything by 2:30 pm on Friday and was informed that pickup would be the evening of that day and I would get a call from the driver. Great, right? One day earlier than planned. By 5:00 pm I still had heard nothing. Called the office 3 more times and each time I was told the driver would call me. Finally, I got a call about 7:30 pm. The driver, said he could come in about an hour and he would call when he got close. That was 9 pm. He pick up the car at 10:00 pm. I was told the car would get there Tuesday. I called on Tues evening when the car didn't arrive by 5 pm and was told, by a new driver that it would now be Wed. It kept going like this until I was told it might be Wed. night., but maybe Thurs. as ours was the last one on the truck and 2 more had to be pulled off first. My son let me know he finally got the car at 10:00 pm on Wed.

I felt I was mislead about the delivery times and received very poor customer service.
the TES dispatcher seemed frustrated that his driver did not call me and I had to repeatedly call him to tell him so. Once they had my car, they didn't seem to care how long the delivery would take or about keeping me informed about the delay.

I will not use Safe Direct or TES Transportation, Inc. in the future, nor will I recommend them.

We are truly sorry that Fran is unhappy, but unfortunately she never gave Jason the chance to help her through her communication problems. Please note - ANY time you have the slightest trouble with a carrier we assign, please get us on the phone. 90% of the time we can resolve communication issues within minutes, but we don't micro manage the moves once they are on their way, although we are happy to step back in. Some times, people don't call us until the problem has gotten too out of control, then we all look bad. As it is with this. Our apologies again.
