From start to finish Safe-Direct car shipping was as close to perfect as I could have hoped for. Without any notice I found myself needing to ship a truck from California to Indiana in a very short amount of time. I had no idea where to start, I didnt even know anyone who had shipped a car. I started doing research and saw horror stories that were ,awful I thought of not even doind it but was lucky enough to find transport reviews. It not only gave me information on ratings but how many ratings each one had so I could aviod the 5 stars with only 2 reviews. After reading many, I went into the Safe-Direct site and it answered so many questions I didnt even know I had. I watched the informational videos and knew what questions to ask. I quickly realized the information they gave me helped me avoid "up-charges", what insurance to look for with the carrier how to prepare you car for shipping and how you pay at the other end. If you ask for bids your inbox will blow up with everything from cheaper than you could get if you drove it there to bids so high you think that cant possibly be right. They even advise you to look at the BBB website. Tom responded quickly, listened when I asked so many questions, answered HONESTLY even though it may not have been the answer I wanted (time frames) even if it might risk losing the bid. I told him I would have to think about it, I never felt pressured. I got back to Tom that afternoon I was so pleased to see a follow up e-mail at 5 AM the next morning.It was never promised but we were lucky and got a call later that daythat we had a driver, a short time later he was here. Our driver, Dwaye was wonderful he showed respect in driving our truck,explaining the process and securing it to the trailer. When the truck arrived, there were no surpises, no extra miles, no damage. An experience that could have been a nightmare turned into an almost perfect one. I am beyond pleased with Safe-Direct car shipping.
