Overall I had a good experience with this company. I did not know what to expect as I had never shipped a car before, but I felt that Jason was very honest and up front about the process. It was a little difficult having to wait several weeks to be assigned a carrier and I was not in a position where I could wait until the day or the day after my car was available to have a carrier assigned. Luckily, I learned what carrier would be transporting my car about 5 days before my first available date. I was very happy with the carrier, White Hawks Auto. The driver, Louis, transported my car from Southern California to Indianapolis in 3 days. I was able to pick up my car less than a full day after arriving in Indianapolis and my car was delivered in the same condition it was in when it was driven onto the truck three days prior. If I ever had to ship my car again in the future I would probably deal directly with the carrier, but paying Safe-Direct to find a reputable carrier in this situation was worth it.

You bring up an important point: unlike travel services, the scheduling of cross-country transports cannot be set weeks in advance - transports are confirmed the week of pick-up.
