Actual Carrier was Sub-par

Chris with Safe Auto Direct was good to work with, responsive and knowledgeable. However, the actual carrier that Safe Auto Direct subcontractedto was sub-par. They were late to pick up my truck and late to deliver. The driver spoke very little English and it was very difficult to arrange the pick up location. I had to call the dispatcher who would call the driver and translate back to me because direct communication between driver and myself was difficult/impossible due to the language barrier. The night before the delivery, the driver called and asked for cash, which was odd, but finally settled for a money order. His reasoning for needing cash was because he ran out of gas money to get back to the east coast...even more odd. I ended up picking up my truck at 7pm on a cold night on the side of I-70 (not at an exit) where his truck apparently broke down. The driver unloaded all of the other cars on the side of the interstate and parked mine in front. The other cars were spread out on the shoulder...VERY UNSAFE! This also made it very difficult to review my truck for damage as it wasn't very comforting looking over everything with a flashlight and traffic zooming by at 80mph.
