Successful but Stressful

Safe –Direct Car Shipping did an Excellent job of pulling together the transport of my Vehicle.
The plan was to ship from my home to my vacation RV site Breckenridge Colorado to coincide with my 2 week vacation. Unfortunately no transport company would take on the Breckenridge delivery site.
Tim offered various options including upping the transport price and delivering the vehicle to Denver at an alternate. Tim went well beyond the call of duty trying to get the vehicle delivered in a way that fit into my vacation plans. As a result of his exceptional customer service and dedication to finding a way to pull it together the delivery was successful.
As far as the transport company K.B. Transportation, I was very disappointed in their customer service. I anticipated that I would have been able to get updates on the delivery day and time by calling the company. Rather than the office staff following up as I expected, I had to call the driver directly to try and coordinate the pickup in Denver that was 1 ½ hours away from my RV site in Breckenridge. The driver was helpful even though the company’s representative that answered my phone calls was far below satisfactory.
The bottom line is the delivery went according to schedule after a struggle coordinating the day and time with the driver. Safe-Direct gets an A++ but K.B. Transport gets a D- for failing to provide an acceptable level of customer service.

Thanks, Carl. We, too, wish we could control the level of customer service on each end, but (alas) we have to deal with this scenario from time to time. Note to anyone reading this - if you have trouble with your carrier, give your rep here a call and we will crack the whip on your behalf (that's part of what you pay us for)
