GOOD:

-David Franco at Safe-Direct, although a little difficult to get a hold of at first, was easy to work with and then responsive with any questions I had.

-Driver from AMKO who picked up my car was very nice. Answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable about the process.

-The car was delivered is good condition, no problems. Expect it to be dirty if you’re using open carrier. Nothing a car wash can't take care of.


BAD:

-AMKO was supposed to call the day before to confirm a pickup time. They called the day of at 8am instead. Not a huge deal, but it would have been more convenient for planning purposes to call the day before.

-AMKO phone customer service was OK. They don't have a message on their answering machine, which was odd. One female customer rep, was easy to talk to, there was also a male who was more difficult to understand or conform anything with.

-There was some confusion on full payment. I was shipping to a relative and wanted to complete payment up front. I transferred the money to AMKO’s bank account and then called to confirm. They never let their driver know, so there was some confusion about the drop off. All worked in the end.


OVERALL:
- No issues, with David or Safe-Direct. I went for the cheapest cost, so I was expecting a few hiccups with the carrier. Overall, the car was delivered and in working order. I would use the service again and recommend to friends. Just plan to iron some details along the way and you’ll be fine.
