I learned a lot about the car transport industry during this experience. The initial quote needed to be increased at the last minute by a few hundred dollars and the initial pick up date needed to be moved to the right by a few days in order to secure a transport company. Due to a confusion error with the transport company, my car was delivered 4 days late. I guess this is an industry standard.

Sorry you weren't happy with our efforts to find you a bargain hauler. Our intial quote was realistic and would have confirmed a carrier quickly, but you wanted to try for $250 less. We are always happy to try for a bargain, but as David informed you, sometimes you do have to increase your offer if there aren't any haulers who want to work for your preferred price.
